You need n shots!

n = A number that changes every day in this current year.

Fourteen Israelis have been diagnosed with COVID-19 despite having been inoculated with a third COVID-19 vaccine dose, according to Health Ministry data reported by Channel 12 news on Sunday. [...]

Some 420,000 Israelis have been administered a third booster shot so far, in a drive that began last week.

The nth shot will be coming soon:

“The coronavirus will be here for many years and there will be many more variants, and we need to learn to live with it,” Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman reportedly said at Sunday’s meeting.

Near total humiliation

Australia are back home and have began their two weeks' quarantine. They will have plenty of time to reflect on a tally of two wins and eight defeats in ten T20Is over the last month in the West Indies and in Bangladesh. There was a one-day series victory in the Caribbean which was not insignificant, but in terms of the immediate priority, it was a sobering experience.

Australia had never lost any series to Bangladesh before. Then, they got a 4-1 thrashing.

The very last game was literally their lowest:

62 Australia's total in the fifth T20I against Bangladesh, their lowest ever in the format. Their previous lowest was 79 all out against England in 2005, which was only their second T20I appearance.

Australia will bounce back. They eventually do. But that last game was really ugly.

Not using the little gray cells

A writer for The Guardian, M. A. Sieghart, has asked the perennial question, “Why do so few men read books by women?” Curiously, the people who always ask this question never follow up by asking how women authors might better appeal to men or how the publishing industry might get a better share of the underserved male-readership market. [...]

The idea that boys and men represent a niche that needs marketed to, and not a group of villains who need browbeaten, is alien to them.

Why do so few men read books by women?

Answer: Because men are not interested in what these women are writing.

If modern female authors are serious about learning what appeals to boys and men, then they should carefully look at the works of Agatha Christie and Susan Cooper.

Perverse incentives

End result:

  1. Higher rents because of this additional risk.
  2. Fewer landlords in the future. Big companies survive; smaller guys and gals die.
  3. Governments step in with rent controls which leads to lower quality spaces and a further reduction in supply.

Rules are for the little people

They fly in private jets while lecturing rednecks about pickup trucks. They'll defund the police while hiring bodyguards with "weapons of war" to defend their own ass. Worse, they'll do their best to make it difficult for you to legally own a basic handgun.

She is important; you're not.

Inversion

The relevant definition of kink:

bizarre or unconventional sexual preferences or behavior

This simple normal human desire -- get married, have kids -- is being perverted into what it is definitely not. Predictably, these same clowns would have zero hesitation in calling the LGBTBBQ+ freakshow behaviors as something that is totally normal.
