Many Canadians are against the added option of a private system. They think that everyone should get the same miserable health care regardless of income. What they fail to see is that not-poor Canadians will simply travel abroad to get treatment. In other words those who suffer through months and years (!) of wait time for a basic appointment or surgery are largely the poor Canadians. It would be better to have a private system with extra doctors, nurses, and hospitals within Canada. Of course, that would showcase the mediocrity of the public system. So, the sad reality continues.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is urging Western governments to criminalize any insulting remarks against Islam’s Prophet Muhammad and treat offenders the same way they do those who deny the Holocaust.

Khan spoke Saturday after violent nationwide protests this week by a radical Islamist party demanding expulsion of the French ambassador over the publication of cartoons in France depicting the prophet, an act condemned as blasphemous.

Imran Khan does have a point. Though, not the one he thinks he's making. Let's say that a Western country repeals its holocaust denial laws. Would Imran Khan be then content? Nope. The rules and laws of the non-Muslim world are irrelevant. What matters is that they bow down to the whims of Muslims.

Equality is evil

The government can't magically turn the poor into rich. However, it is supremely competent at doing the opposite. A similar logic applies with education:

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is moving to eliminate all accelerated math options prior to 11th grade, effectively keeping higher-achieving students from advancing as they usually would in the school system.

At least the dumb kids will feel so much better about themselves.

The changes were just the latest of many to prompt concern from parents in the state, which has seen in-fighting over controversial ideas surrounding equity and race.

A Loudoun parent who spoke on the condition of anonymity worried that the changes would "lower standards for all students in the name of equity."

Yup.

Mostly peaceful attempted stabbing

One of the most bizarre aspects of these videos is how the culprits completely ignore the cops. We're told that the American system is RAYCISSS and that cops are out to hunt blacks.  Instead of simply walking away when the police shows up, these blacks go full psycho and leave the cops with little choice but to use lethal force.

Then, afterwards, we're told how the crazy bitch was an angel who could've become a brain surgeon. Also, White cop is VERY BAD MAN. It's all so tiresome.

Importing COVID-19

Diversity: the gift that keeps on giving:

Norwegian authorities are appealing to immigrants to stop holidaying in their respective home countries, as the country is witnessing a spike in imported COVID-19 cases, the newspaper Berlingske reported. [...]

Overall, immigrants are severely overrepresented among those infected with coronavirus in Norway, a trend witnessed in neighbouring countries such as Sweden and Finland, where it has been attributed to relative poverty, cramped living conditions, and insufficient knowledge of the language.

Furthermore, this tendency appears to have worsened during the third wave of the infection. Among those currently admitted to Norwegian hospitals with COVID-19, wholly 57 percent were born abroad. This is the highest proportion during the entire pandemic.

Norwegians could have easily solved this problem by having tougher travel restrictions and quarantine rules but that would have been so RAYCISSS!

"Absolutely useless"

Kumar got consumed by the hype:

Ashok Kumar switched to driving an electric rickshaw taxi from working at a printing press three years ago, after hearing the New Delhi government was offering subsidies. However, he never got the promised rebate on his $1,770 electric rickshaw.

Kumar sets out each day acutely aware that he has just until lunchtime to earn as much as he can.

Then he has to rush home to charge his vehicle. It takes 12 hours of charging to get a running time of five hours, he says.

That's horribly inefficient on so many levels. With petrol, he could've got five hours of run-time from five minutes of "charging". If you're rich, then electric vehicles are a luxury toy. If you're not, then good luck since the tech and infrastructure is still primitive.

Anyway, Saudi Arabia covers an area that is double that of France and Germany combined. However, the population of those two countries is more than four times that of Arabia. Perhaps, the wealthy and generous Muslims at the heart of Islam can open their borders to the world. Hey, they certainly have plenty of space!

Expert Scrabble players have blasted the game's owner as 'virtue signalling' and 'woke' after it banned 400 derogatory terms as playable moves.

Racial slurs including the 'n-word', insults against the elderly and homophobic terms were removed from Scrabble's official online words list following worldwide anti-racism protests in the wake of the death of American George Floyd.

Scrabble's owner Mattel said it made the change to make it more relevant culturally following global unrest last year.

The best part?

Mattel has not released an official list of what words are banned - but countless term are no longer acceptable on Scrabble's online dictionary.

Imagine a White player against a Black woman and he makes this word: APE. How uncouth. On his next move, he makes: SNIGGER. Bonus! Oh, and he connects the R with APE.

Time to destroy the VERY BAD White man!

That's how it will go down. We'll get different standards for different peoples. The words APE, RAPE, and SNIGGER are likely not on the banned list but they'll magically become offensive when the opponent is colored.

Destined for Greatness

April 14: Pakistan had to score 204 to win against South Africa. Babar Azam unleashed his first century in T20Is and crushed the hapless Africans. Pakistan won with two overs to spare.

Two days later: South Africa is all out for 144. Pakistan 92/1 in 9 overs -- just 53 more runs from 11 overs. Easy, right? Nope. IT'S TIME FOR DRAMA! Their performance in the next 9 overs: 37 runs for the loss of 6 wickets! Magala steps over the line in the 19th over and the free-hit goes for a massive six. Next over, the second-last ball also goes bye bye. Tiny target chased with one ball to spare.

The T20 World Cup should be fun!

It's rare to see so many strong batsmen: Azam, Rizwan, Zaman, Old Man Hafeez, and Baby Ali. The added pressure of captaincy has had zero impact on Azam. If anything, he has improved in the last few months. Hitting exquisite fours is his signature. He looked very uncomfortable when trying to hit outside the ground in the ODI World Cup two years ago. Now, his highest ODI score is only 3 runs greater than the 122 he smashed in a T20I. Let's see how many trophies he collects in the next decade.

Environmental campaigners are trying to gather support for more plant-based meals in Brighton and Hove schools and venues.

One could see this coming from a mile away:

Ms Plaumer also told the council last month: “Arguably, there is a racist element to serving dairy too much because 65 per cent of the world’s population are lactose intolerant, many from the BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) community.

Sweet cheezus! Assuming that this concern is genuine, the solution is simple: lactose-free cheese. But, nope. These people want to ban animal products. Of course, if you oppose them, then you're a RAYCISSS!

Hero of the Year:

In a touching act of compassion, local good Samaritan Chad Paulson saw a man being oppressed by a police officer and immediately rushed over to loot a local Target.

"It's what I'd expect anyone else with any kind of sense of right and wrong to do for me," Paulson told reporters as he ransacked the Lego section of the store, snagging a sweet new TIE fighter model and a Harry Potter set. "When we see oppression and injustice in this world, we can't sit idly by and do nothing. We must take action, find the nearest Target, Nike store, or GameStop, and loot in his name."

Sachin Tendulkar, who was hospitalised as a precautionary measure after testing positive for COVID-19, was on Thursday discharged and is now recuperating at home in Mumbai, while staying in isolation.

Oppression is big money in the current year:

Last week, real estate website Dirt.com reported that the “37-year-old social justice visionary” Khan-Cullors had bought a $1.4 million compound in Topanga, a remote Los Angeles neighborhood nestled deep in the Santa Monica mountains.

In L.A. terms, $1.4 million is not necessarily extravagant, though the activist took criticism for spending what would be a fortune in most other real estate markets, and for buying in a largely white neighborhood after urging people to “buy black.”

Ha! Can it get more sleazy? Yes, it can. This is her fourth property!

However, it turns out that Khan-Cullors also owns a house in the predominantly black neighborhood of Inglewood — among several other homes. The New York Post reported Saturday that she bought a $510,000 home there in 2016, which is worth about $800,000 today. She also bought a $590,000 home in South Los Angeles that is worth $720,000 today, and bought a ranch in rural Georgia for $415,000 last year, “featuring a private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it.”

Tech juggernaut Intel announced this week that they have developed artificial intelligence intended for online gaming voice chat that will censor “toxic slurs” such as “Misogyny,” “Swearing,” “Aggression,” “Ableism and Body Shaming,” “White Nationalism,” “LGBTQ+ Hate,” and the “N-Word.”

If Intel had focused more on building new chips, then they wouldn't have had their ass handed to them by AMD in the past few years.

After a concussion, women may be at heightened risk of lasting physical and mental symptoms, a new study finds.

The study of 2,000 concussion sufferers found that women were more likely than men to still have some symptoms one year later. The problems included fuzzy memory and difficulty concentrating, as well as headaches, dizziness or fatigue.

Who knew that science could be so problematic.

The enlightened racism

Diversity and multiculturalism don't work for this basic reason: a legal system, and by extension the country, can't function for long when it's perverted to apply different standards to the diverse peoples. For example, if you have a health condition and you want to make a doctor's appointment, then the swiftness of the response will depend on your race.

“Offering preferential care based on race or ethnicity may elicit legal challenges from our system of colorblind law,” Harvard Medical School professors Bram Wispelwey and Michelle Morse wrote in the piece. “But given the ample current evidence that our health, judicial, and other systems already unfairly preference people who are white, we believe — following the ethical framework of Zack and others — that our approach is corrective and therefore mandated. We encourage other institutions to proceed confidently on behalf of equity and racial justice, with backing provided by recent White House executive orders.”

Diversity = Fuck you, White people.

A dangerous team

The third match, again, went to the very last over. South Africa fought hard but they were missing too many talented players. Pakistan wins another ODI series in South Africa.

Who would have thought that Fakhar would break the record for the highest number of runs against South Africa in a three-match ODI series after he got out for 8 (!) in the first match?  This is how the top three performed:

Imam: 70, 5, 57
Fakhar: 8, 193, 101
Babar: 103, 31, 94

Imam is often dependable, Fakhar owns two of the top three scores by a Pakistani batsman in ODIs, and Babar is one of the best in the world. If the middle order settles and clicks, then they can cause some serious havoc.

Also, Hasan Ali is back. Speaking of havoc, he was the Man of the Series in that crazy tournament four years ago.

I have to admit, my sympathy for anyone experiencing unexpected adverse effects from the not-vaccine is pretty close to nonexistent. These aren't infants being inoculated against their will and without their knowledge or ability to resist, after all. They are adults who one would quite reasonably expect to know better than to permit themselves to be injected with untested experimental substances on the word of people with literally billions of dollars to gain from selling the injections.

Oh just wait as new variants appear and people start lining up to get injected with new not-vaccines on a regular basis. The adverse effects will skyrocket and the companies making billions of dollars are not liable!

Nightmare scenario: Terrorists develop a virus that violently attacks those who got the not-vaccines. Millions of lives lost and trillions of dollars in economic damage. There's a bright side, at least: the real estate market will definitely cool down.
