Eight days of misery
Feb 13, 2021
This February is extremely cruel:
Snowstorms are hitting southern parts of Ontario for consecutive days and it's being called a "snow parade." [...]
There's another system expected for later in the week, which meteorologist Doug Gillham said could make the seven-day snowfall totals "rather impressive with the parade of storms."
Many words came to my mind. Impressive wasn't one of them.
Here's how it looks.
SNOW ON: Friday, Saturday (today).
SNOW OFF: Sunday.
SNOW ON: Monday, Tuesday.
SNOW OFF: Wednesday.
SNOW ON: Thursday, Friday.
The harsh low humidity combined with strong winds will literally cut up your skin. I went grocery shopping yesterday. I was outside for under half an hour and there are cuts around my knuckles.
