Talent, power, technique, energy, and grit. Even though I know the result, my jaw still dropped at the sheer tenacity of Ben Stokes. The magnificent bastard kept on hitting sixes as the shocked Aussies crumbled under pressure -- that missed run out will haunt poor Lyon forever.
Yeah it beats Lara's 153* vs Aus. There he added only 12 runs with the last man. Here Stokes added nearly 70 runs.
