Evaporating talent

An absolutely humiliating defeat:
Having been deflated with a collapse of 6 for 26, Pakistan Under-19 could pose no challenge to the India Under-19 opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Divyaansh Saxena, who shared an unbeaten stand of 176 to lead the defending champions to a thumping ten-wicket win in the first semi-final of the Under-19 World Cup in Potchefstroom.
What a total slaughter. Pakistan used to be famous for their bowling. Today, their teenagers couldn't even manage a single wicket in 35 overs. So sad.
I saw this game a little bit. Pak bowlers looked far behind Indian bowlers. In pace, skills.
BTW two interesting things about Indian players
1 - Kartik Tyagi - son of a poor farmer in UP from Hapur, which is more like a village about 150 kms from Delhi.
2 - Jaiswal - he was selling pani puri (gol gappa as it is known in delhi) in mumbai.
Most of the this team is from small town and one can see that in their command over English.
This india is very aspirational. One man who changed it is the person who rose from being the son of chai wallah to the highest office in India and that from a backward caste.

Bodes well for the next decade of Indian cricket.
