A 50-year-old grandfather who was allegedly bashed with baseball bats outside his home in a Christmas Day dispute with neighbours will have his life support switched off.

Anthony Clark, 50, was allegedly 'thrown around like a rag doll', stomped on and hit with bats in the street outside his home at Moorolbark in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs shortly before 11pm.

Just a dozen or so youths who got a little rowdy.

A woman in Pakistan goes too far!

While speaking at an International Human Rights Day event in Attock, Nekokara had called for granting equal rights to all minorities regardless of religious divisions. “We should give due rights to non-Muslims Pakistanis, we should give them their due regard, we have unfortunately gotten stuck in these religious divisions, someone identifies as Shia, someone as Sunni, someone as an Ahmadi, someone as a Wahabi, we should dissolve these differences and instead identify ourselves only as Muslims and Pakistanis,” she said.

Soon afterward, over a dozen protesters, most of them students, arrived at the district administration building demanding an explanation from the Attock AC over grouping Ahmadis with other Muslims in her speech.

She clarifies her comments here:

That was some serious back-pedal. The only thing missing was a token Ahmadi hanging from a lamp post behind her.

The Colored Coalition of the Left is working really nice:

The most recent case of revolving-door justice came Saturday morning, with the release, with no bail, of a woman charged with punching and cursing at three Orthodox women, ages 22, 26 and 31, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn at dawn the day before.

The accused assailant, Tiffany Harris, was hauled in handcuffs before a Brooklyn judge on 21 menacing, harassment and attempted assault charges.

She's not White. So, the Left will simply ignore the inconvenient story.

As she stood before a judge in Brooklyn Criminal Court with the hood to a navy blue jacket over her head, Harris was in familiar territory.

She still has an open harassment and assault case on the Brooklyn docket from November 2018.

And last month, she was sentenced to no jail time for felony criminal mischief in Manhattan, court records show — a case for which she had repeatedly failed to make court appearances.

Muslims vs. Jews ... Blacks vs. Jews ... Asians vs. Jews ... Blacks vs. Hispanics ... America is going through interesting times.

Officials at the University of York in the UK apologized to students after an English lecturer read aloud the word “negro” from black-authored source material. [...]

When the offended undergrads complained to English Department Chair Helen Smith, she responded with a letter of apology.

The Department Chair wrote about a content warning!

I am extremely sorry that this happened, and I have written to all staff in the department to make it clear that they should not pronounce racial slurs as part of their teaching and that if those words appear in texts or on PowerPoint slides, they should be prefaced with an appropriate content warning.

Tens of thousands of people lost their jobs a few weeks before Christmas:

Canada’s job market unexpectedly weakened for a second-straight month, registering the biggest drop in employment since 2009 and casting doubt on the resiliency of the domestic outlook. The economy lost 71,200 jobs in November, Statistics Canada said Friday in Ottawa, following a decline of 1,800 in the prior month.

Of course, what Canada needs is millions of more immigrants!

For only the second time in history, all the top four batsmen scored centuries in one innings of a Test match. To be fair, the Sri Lankans don't really have a quality strike bowler who could trouble the Pakistanis.

If there was any doubt that Babar Azam is one of the most valuable batsmen today:

42.67 - Babar's career average. It is the first time his average has gone above 40 since his third Test in 2016. At the end of 2017, Babar averaged 23.75 after 11 Tests. In the last two years, he has upped his game significantly, scoring 1232 runs - 616 each in 2018 and 2019 - at an average of 61.60. That average is the highest among the 14 batsmen who have scored 1000-plus Test runs in the last two years.

Wow. I definitely expected some improvement in Tests but not by that much!

The Big Three Crushed

The three largest cannabis companies in Canada, in terms of revenue, are Canopy Growth Corporation (WEED), Aurora Cannabis (ACB), and Aphria (APHA). All of them were penny stocks a few years ago. The legalization hype in Canada made their stock prices skyrocket.

The approximate all-time stock price highs:

  • WEED: $76
  • ACB: $16
  • APHA: $24

Then, in 2019, all the significant public figures from these three companies were basically fired. Vic Neufeld, the CEO of Aphria, resigned in January. Bruce Linton, the CEO of Canopy was terminated from Canopy in early July, and now Cam Battley from Aurora is being shown the door.

The stock prices on the close of Friday.

  • WEED: $26.35
  • ACB: $2.95
  • APHA: $6.55

The Cannabis Bubble of Canada has definitely burst. Shorts made an absolute killing this year.

Canopy has $2 billion and Aphria has costs under control with a few hundred million dollars. Aurora is in serious trouble because they're running out of cash and they're not profitable. Their strategy of buying everything before 2019 is now coming to bite them. For instance, they paid roughly $4 billion in stock to buy two other cannabis companies in 2018. Now, their entire market capitalization is ... $3.1 billion! They've had to halt construction to preserve capital. Perhaps, they can sell off a few assets to Canopy or Cronos to survive ...

Quite a few companies are going to die in 2020.

Robert "The Sham" Reich

Reich is trying to be a clever demagogue. Note that he didn't say that 60% of the rich people inherited their wealth; only that 60% of the wealth is inherited.

Here's a scenario:

  • A city has 100 millionaires.
  • 80 of them inherited $0. Their wealth is worth exactly $1 million each.
  • 19 of them got exactly $1 million inheritances.
  • 1 lucky bastard got a mammoth $101 million dollars from his rich uncle.
  • Conclusion: 60% of the wealth was inherited in this city. Yet, only 20% of rich people got inheritances!

Of course, when it comes to those horrible, eeevil rich people, perception and reality are often different:

We recently released the findings of the largest study of millionaires ever conducted, with 10,000 people participating. We also surveyed the general population, and we found out that 74% of Millennials believe millionaires inherited their money. So do 52% of Baby Boomers.

Our study of millionaires blows that theory out of the water. Only 21% of millionaires received any inheritance at all. Just 16% inherited more than $100,000. And get this: only 3% received an inheritance at or above $1 million.

So, four out of five millionaires inherited $0! Not only is it a lie to say otherwise but it also diminishes their efforts over decades.

We gave the millionaires in our study a list of items that could contribute to someone becoming a millionaire, and then we asked them to rank them. What ranked number one, beating out everything else? Financial discipline. What ranked number two? Saving consistently.

Here in Canada, there have been stories of people who worked for many decades and consistently added money to their Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs). When they retired, they had over a million dollars in their RRSPs. By design, one can only contribute to an RRSP after earning an income. An old rich dude who never worked would have precisely $0 in his RRSP.

Instead of showcasing the teachers, doctors, and engineers who worked and saved to become millionaires, schmucks like Reich demoralize their audiences by telling them that they can't make it.

People around the world are ditching planes and hopping on trains to reduce their carbon footprints and the negative effects that frequent airplane use can have on the environment — all thanks to the new trends of “flight shaming” and “train bragging”.

The movement first started in Sweden under the name flygskam — which loosely translates to “flight shame” — when a group of notable public figures, including athletes and opera singer Malena Ernman, mother of 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg, announced that they were no longer going to use airplanes to travel.

Thunberg began to highlight flygskam when she sailed across the Atlantic from England to New York — a 15-day-long trip — and documented the entire journey on social media.

Look! I care about the planet. Instead of taking a seven-hour flight, I wasted spent half a month traveling between continents. Suck it, losers!

What a retard. Anyway, I'm waiting for "sail shame" as the new clowns simply start swimming across the Atlantic.

The UN provides the world with a shithole update:

The United Nations' Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) has said that discriminatory legislation by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government has empowered people with "extremist mindsets" to carry out attacks on religious minorities.

In its 47-page report titled, ''Pakistan-Religious freedom under attack'', released in December, the CSW, a commission of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, has expressed concerns over the increasing "weaponisation and politicisation" of the blasphemy laws and the anti-Ahmadiyya legislation which are being used not only to persecute religious minorities but also to gain political ground.

The commission said that Christian and Hindu communities in Pakistan are "particularly vulnerable", especially women and girls.

In case you think that it's just a tiny, small, microscopic minority of Muslims:

"Each year hundreds are abducted and forced to convert and marry Muslim men. Victims have little or no hope of being returned to their families due to the serious threats and intimidation from abductors against the girls and their families. This is compounded by the lack of police will to take action, weaknesses in the judicial process and discrimination from both police and judiciary towards religious minority victims," the report read.

Imran Khan is not going to change anything. He might pay lip service and that's about it. He didn't become prime minister by being supportive of Ahmadis, Hindus, Christians, etc. If you want to be politically popular in Pakistan, then you have to project yourself as deeply against Ahmadis, Indians, Jews, and Americans. Come to think of it, that recipe is basically true for almost every Muslim country.

An improving middle order

The federal government doesn't trust teenagers with a can of beer. Yet, it's perfectly willing to have them sign a life-long contract for tens of thousands of dollars for a largely useless piece of paper. End result: millions of young people get crushed under a mountain of debt.

Worse, the generation responsible for this lunacy doesn't even have a clue about the staggering increase in tuition costs.

Annual tuition for mom: $1,250.

Annual tuition for son: $28,000.

Average wage increase in that time frame? A sad joke.

The elites don't care

Bampumim Teixeira, a 33-year-old from West Africa, was convicted of first-degree murder for brutally killing 49-year-old Dr. Richard Field and his fiancee, 38-year-old Dr. Lina Bolanos, in their luxury apartment in South Boston on May 5, 2017.

During the jury verdict, Teixeira taunted Field’s family, telling them, “You want to know his last words?” Teixeira also made a threat to Assistant District Attorney John Pappas, shouting out, “You better hope I don’t get out of jail!” Teixeira then had to be removed from the courtroom.

This monster should have been deported years ago.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, Teixeira had entered the U.S. on a green card in 2010 before robbing two banks in 2014 and 2016. As part of his plea deal in the bank robberies, Teixeira was allowed to keep his green card and stay in the U.S., and served less than 400 days in prison.

Seriously, how many banks does one have to rob to get the green card revoked?

Muddled Misbah

If the Misbah project doesn't work out, many will look to this moment and conclude he was doomed to fail from the moment he made this bizarre call. In the first series as chief selector, at home against Sri Lanka, he called up Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad, a pair of batsmen frozen out under Mickey Arthur, for the T20I leg. It appeared an utterly needless risk; a radically different approach to Arthur was perhaps least necessary in the T20 format, where Pakistan had won 30 of 37 T20Is under him.

One of the men who was dropped was Haris Sohail. He had performed well in the World Cup. He deserved a place in the team. Instead, he was replaced by the mercurial Umar Akmal who managed a grand total of ZERO! runs in two innings. Can't believe that he's related to Babar Azam.

Anyway, that was definitely the most confusing decision by Misbah. Or perhaps the most bizarre choice was dropping Yasir Shah for the home test against Sri Lanka!?

“People don't enter public areas wearing biking helmets or balaclavas, so why should burkas be allowed? “Not to mention the loose style of the whole outfit Muslim women wear... Think how easy it would be to conceal large weapons underneath, assuming it wasn't a man in 'complete' disguise.

A few years ago in Ontario, a burqa-clad man robbed a jewelry store. Any piece of clothing that covers the face is a huge security hazard. Of course, for such common sense talk, the politician will likely be shown the door.
