Black and White

Dozens of "Canadians" leave Canada for Syria, join ISIS, murder people, and then return to Canada when the going gets tough. The government lets them roam free. The media is not interested.

A Muslim girl says that someone pulled her burqa in Ontario. The politicians couldn't wait to express their outrage over this heinous crime. The media covers the story 24/7. Soon, it becomes clear that the wicked girl manufactured the whole story!

We get more expressions of anger and disgust at a fake story of a Muslim girl than over real evil Muslims who've slaughtered multiple innocents. The contrast is breathtaking and infuriating.

T10 Cricket World Cup?

Pakistan 105 all out. They fell 300 runs short.

Now, it's the Chris Gayle show. He just got his blistering half-century as Pakistan get absolutely crushed in their opening game.

Seriously? 105 runs!

Update
West Indies annihilated Pakistan today:

218- Margin of defeat for Pakistan in terms of balls remaining in their Word Cup opener against West Indies. This is their biggest defeat in World Cup history. In fact, in ODI cricket, they have suffered only one bigger defeat, which also came against West Indies, in Cape Town in 1993.

Another nail in the coffin:

11- Number of consecutive defeats for Pakistan in completed ODIs. They lost four ODIs to England, five to Australia and one to South Africa before heading into the World Cup. This is their longest losing streak in ODIs. The previous worst was 10 losses in a row between October 1987 and March 1988.

Hard to believe that the same team won the Champions Trophy two years ago.

Cricket World Cup

England, the favorites, beat South Africa very convincingly by over a 100 runs. The best part is the English batting: four players scored half-centuries. Then, the bowlers, er, choked the South African scoring.

Oh, how it could have been different had the magnificent AB de Villiers not retired last year. All the teams play nine matches before the top four go forward with the semi-finals. This would have been an excellent stage for a dynamite player like de Villiers.

The mob vs. John Cleese

Cleese has been clarifying his tweet and telling us that he has many "foreign friends". Sad!

Those poor Muslims!

The future is full of enrichment in France:

French police have arrested four people after a suspected parcel bomb exploded in Lyon last week, injuring 13 people.

The device, packed with screws and ball bearings, detonated outside a bakery on Friday afternoon.

Probably a test bomb for something bigger in the future.

French media report that one suspect is an IT student of Algerian nationality. A source told news agency Reuters that police arrested him in Lyon after tailing him in the street. It reportedly decided not to arrest him in his apartment in case there were explosives in the building.

Come on, France! Where's your common sense Muslim deportations bomb control!

Contempt for the Right

This is how the media describes an anti-establishment guy:

Nigel Farage demanded a seat at Brexit negotiations on Monday after his new party swept to victory in the United Kingdom's European Parliament election, warning that he would turn British politics upside down if denied.

Farage, a bombastic 55-year-old commodities broker-turned anti-establishment supremo, won by riding a wave of anger at the failure of Prime Minister Theresa May to take the United Kingdom out of the European Union.

Interesting use of language when describing a right-wing politician. Here, the word assault is neglected in favor of something out of a tropical vacation:

Critics accuse him of stoking anger over issues like immigration, and offering popular but simplistic solutions to complex problems like Brexit. One voter expressed his anger by showering Farage in a milkshake during a campaign appearance.

Gritty but inadequate

Afghanistan has a spirited team but they are no match for the number one side in ODI cricket. Today, they were utterly destroyed. England ruthlessly chased 160 in 17.3 overs. It would have been entertaining but cruel to see what would have happened if England batted first.

Afghanistan is going to be thrashed by powerful teams like Australia, India, and New Zealand in the next month. Let's see how well they fight.

The costs of diversity

Something the MSM should have done:

Over half a million people a day avoid paying their "fare" share of transit by jumping the turnstile and other means. I went out and investigated how bad it actually is.

Of course, the law isn't enforced since it would impact those oppressed, colored, poor people. So, we get more of this:

I was in a streetcar in Toronto last year when I noticed something similar. A lot of people would waltz in the streetcar and not bother tapping their Presto smart card for fare deduction. I noticed over a dozen culprits in just half an hour. Strangely, every single one of them was colored.

So, this isn't only a NYC problem.

Luxurious Balls

They do look like palantirs!

As the artist held his orb up to the sky, you might sooner guess that we were touring Saruman’s tower in Middle Earth than an extraction facility in Seattle. But this globe is no crystal ball or palantir – it’s 3,000 grams of pure cannabis extract measuring up to a staggering 99% THC.

Wow. The price for one gram of near-100% THC oil is around $50 in the US. That means that the dragon balls are worth $150,000.

Teslanomics

Elon Musk fought against the laws of economics. Tesla cars are too expensive for the average consumer. His company has lost nearly $10 billion in ten years.

Elon Musk’s growth story is looking more like a fable as Tesla Inc. enters survival mode.

Just over two weeks ago, Musk boasted to stock analysts and big investors that the company was on course to reach half a trillion dollars in market value. Since then, Tesla’s stock price has dropped 19.5%, vaporizing $8.8 billion in market value. The remaining $36-billion market capitalization is 7% of what Musk is telling the world Tesla will be worth.

The share price is now at $190 -- the same as it was in September of 2013. The extended weakness has wiped out nearly six years of gains for buy-and-hold investors. Since Tesla doesn't pay a dividend, that's a sharp and painful opportunity cost for many people.

Rumors have been flying for years that a particular fruit company has been interested in buying Tesla. A $250 price per share all-cash offer wouldn't be too shabby.

The Great One agrees

What I wrote in February:

I expect to see these four teams in the semi-finals: India, Australia, England, and New Zealand.

I wrote this just a few days ago:

In the World Cup, Pakistan can beat the minnows and they might even take down a contender. However, they won't be getting anywhere near the trophy because their bowling is bizarrely weak and their batsmen can't handle pressure. [...] They will probably be ranked #5 in the grand tournament when it's done.

Today, Sachin Tendulkar made his prediction:

Who are your probable semifinalists?

India, England, Australia should be in the semis. The fourth could be one of New Zealand or Pakistan.

Cool. Based on recent strength, it would be nice to see an India vs. England final with England finally winning a Cricket World Cup.

How to waste money

So stunning. So bold. So brave. These clowns deserve an Oscar!

A school is Chicago will spend tens of thousands of dollars reprinting its 2018-19 yearbook after several photos contained students posing with a hand gesture which has links to white supremacy.

Administrators at the Oak Park and River Forest High School announced it will spend a total of $53,794 to replace the 1,750 copies of “Tabula” after staff found 18 photos of students making an upside down OK hand sign.

A helpful fellow provides this guide towards "hate gestures" in our brave new world:

Diversity is Death

Somalia in Minnesota:

A mob of eight to 10 males wielding hammers descended upon bystanders at the East Bank Light Rail station on Friday night injuring several, according to recorded police dispatch audio. [...]

A person who claimed on social media to have been at the station when the incident occurred said that the group of males had “hammers and bars,” and that they seemed to be “attacking anyone who looked like they had money or were white.”

Of course, the solution is obvious: America needs common sense hammer control.

The Cult of Death

An Islamic militant has posted a video on the internet boasting that he has arrived in Canada to kill Asia Bibi.

The death threat comes a week after Bibi, a Catholic mother of five, was permitted to leave Pakistan for Canada to join her family at a secret address.

She had been convicted of blasphemy and spent nearly 10 years on death row until she was cleared by the Pakistan Supreme Court in October, sparking anger among hardline Islamic radicals.

It won't be surprising to see Muslim terrorist attacks where they use Asia Bibi's asylum as an excuse. Hey, if you infidels had simply allowed us to murder her, then we wouldn't have killed your countrymen. See, this death and carnage is your fault.

ODI no. 4140

Chris Woakes destroys Pakistan in two overs by taking three wickets and conceding zero runs! Now, Pakistan at 6/3 chasing 352. Unless Babar Azam plays the innings of his career, England will crush Pakistan by a 4-0 margin.

Yup. England won convincingly. The last five Pakistani players played shots and each scored in the double digits. The tenth wicket partnership was a shocking 47 runs. For contrast, the four main batsmen -- Zaman, Ali, Hafeez, and Malik -- scored a combined total of nine runs. That's how you don't chase 351 in ODI cricket.

In the World Cup, Pakistan can beat the minnows and they might even take down a contender. However, they won't be getting anywhere near the trophy because their bowling is bizarrely weak and their batsmen can't handle pressure. Azam is the best batsman in the team but his strike rate is not high enough to shift the balance. They will probably be ranked #5 in the grand tournament when it's done.

Idiot of the Year

What exactly did Alfred Purcell want to accomplish from the stunt?

Surveillance footage captured Alfred Purcell, 57, removing the 9mm bullet from the pocket of his pants at Southbridge High School on Thursday morning before he dropped it on the floor and quickly left the scene.

He returned to the area 10 minutes later and pretended to discover the ammunition, before alerting administrators and sending the school into lockdown.

Hello, early retirement.

ODI no. 4138

The current ODI series between England and Pakistan has been a batting paradise for all players. A few figures:

1st ODI
England 373/3
Pakistan 361/7

2nd ODI
Pakistan 358/9
England 359/4 (in 44.5 overs!)

3rd ODI
Pakistan 340/7
England 341/7

Today, Pakistan became the first team in history to score 340 or more in three consecutive ODI matches. Then, just a few hours later, England became the second team to do so!

  • Pakistan's bowling is utterly mediocre. They likely would have failed to defend 400 in the 2nd ODI. Akram and Younis wept.
  • England's bowling isn't that great either. They haven't managed to get Pakistan out in three games. The Indian batsmen are going to give them serious trouble.
  • The pitches are made for batting. Never in history have two teams scored 340 or more in three successive innings and there's still one more match to go!

Conclusion: Quite a few batting records will be broken in the upcoming World Cup. Teams like England, Australia, South Africa, and India will likely smash 400+ runs against the weaker sides if they bat first.

Time to pay up!

The beast is hungry:

A proposed hike in Illinois’ annual registration fee for electric vehicles, from $17.50 to $1,000, is being called unfair by current EV owners, and a sales disincentive by manufacturers — just as the new technology is beginning to gain broader traction.

This is what happens after decades of out of control spending and debt accumulation: taxes go up! That, by the way, is a 5,614% increase in the registration fee.

Disavow Now!

The Supreme Dark Lord of the Evil Legion of Evil:

It's amazing how little they know me, that they think persistence will work against me when SJWs have been attacking me relentlessly for at least 14 years. Their newest line is that Unauthorized is a scam, which indicates that they have no idea what the investment opportunity I have mentioned is about. Which, I'm sure is more than a little amusing to all of the Arkhaven backers.

I laughed at the update.

The Religion That Must Not Be Named

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale says the arrests of two men in Ontario charged with possession of an explosive device is not related to national security.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

Police say officers searching the home found hazardous, explosive materials as well as a detonator device.

The two men – identified as Reza Mohammadiasl, 47, and Mahyar Mohammadiasl, 18 – were charged with possession of an explosive device.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM. Move along!

Can you feel the peace?

Christians refused to submit to evil:

On 28 April, in Sirgadji village in the north-eastern province of Soum, after the Assemblies of God church had ended its service, Pastor Pierre Ouédraogo, 80, and other members were chatting in the church yard. Around 1pm a dozen armed men arrived on motorbikes to storm the place, a local leader, who wanted to remain anonymous, told World Watch Monitor:

“The assailants asked the Christians to convert to Islam, but the pastor and the others refused. They ordered them to gather under a tree and took their Bibles and mobile phones. Then they called them, one after the other, behind the church building where they shot them dead”. [...]

The assailants then set the church on fire – plus two motorbikes, then stole some sheep and a bag of rice from the pastor’s house before leaving.

The Muslims couldn't break her

A provincial governor, a federal minister, and a cabinet member were all murdered for defending Asia Bibi -- a Christian woman who was sentenced to death in Pakistan for a fake charge of blasphemy. She has finally been allowed to leave Pakistan:

Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who spent eight years on death row in Pakistan for blasphemy before she was freed last year, has flown to Canada where she has reunited with her family, her lawyer has said.

“It is a big day,” Saiful Malook told the Guardian. “Asia Bibi has left Pakistan and reached Canada. She has reunited with her family. Justice has been dispensed.”

This woman has gone through ten years of hell.

Bibi, a Roman Catholic from the village of Ittanwala near Lahore, was accused by Muslim villagers of insulting the prophet in a row over a cup of water in June 2009. The supreme court judgment said there was no evidence to support the charge.

Five days after the altercation, a local mosque broadcast allegations she had committed blasphemy and Bibi was dragged from her home by a mob and beaten in the presence of police officers before she was taken into custody.

Bibi was sentenced to death in 2010 in what became Pakistan’s most infamous blasphemy case. She always maintained her innocence.
