Intel is finally going to face some heat after a decade of domination:
AMD also announced its Threadripper CPUs for the high-end desktop segment. These 16-core/32-thread processors will debut this summer, but the company didn't provide any further details. Pricing will play an important role, but frankly, 16 cores is plenty exciting. Intel's 10-core/20-thread i7-6950X Broadwell-E weighs in at $1,700, and considering AMD's Ryzen pricing history, we can expect a much lower price point than that to get more cores.
Software firms have to be able to take advantage of the cores for this to be a success. I've noticed that with multi-core processors that sell for over $300, the performance delta is simply too minuscule.

Muslims are forced to fast during the day from before sunrise to just after sunset during Ramadan – meaning no food or drink, as well as no signs of affections to spouses in public.

Anyway, do note that during the day in the month of Ramadan, Muslims can't eat or drink! Many non-Muslims don't know the part about not drinking any liquids.
When I lived in Saudi Arabia, the school cafeteria would be closed during Ramadan. I could manage without food for 24 hours but the lack of water was torture. Remember that Arabia is a country of extreme heat. The humidex values exceed 60 degrees Celsius on hellish days. Car tires lose their form and start to melt. Yet, the pious people of Islam expect children to not drink any water for the entire duration of the day.

After six Somali refugees were convicted of plotting to board planes and join ISIS in Syria, a U.S. federal judge in Minnesota decided to enroll one of them in an experimental terrorist rehabilitation program.
The program was developed in Europe and operates on the principles of the “countering violent extremism” or CVE, which is also part of the global, United Nations-supported Strong Cities Network.Rather than going to prison, Abdullahi Mohamed Yusuf, 21, was sentenced in November to a 20-year supervised release. He was granted time served and sent to live in a halfway house. He receives counseling, reports to a probation officer and wears an ankle monitor but is otherwise free to come and go.
Mohamed sure learned his lesson.
But less than six months from the time he was released, Yusuf has already hit a road block.
He was returned to federal custody last week for allegedly failing a polygraph test and watching a documentary about ISIS in Europe.
It's always amusing to see how Westerners react with utter shock when people who're attracted to brutal violence, playful torture, and pre-teen sex slaves commit the unconscionable sin of lying! But the authorities must be seen as doing something. Even if it's a colossal waste of time and resources.
Almost everyone in Minnesota law enforcement is not on board with the controversial program, sources tell WND. And groups that try to educate police on the religious underpinnings of jihad are typically closed out of the discussion.

I know this because I've listened to part of an audiobook and then soon read the book to realize that her writing in the novel was altered.
The insidious part is that I would have been utterly ignorant of this fact if I had only read the book. One can assume that many other books of the past have been distorted without us even being aware of it. Of course, with digital-only books, it would be almost effortless to mold history.

Thirteen countries, all of a Muslim majority, punish apostasy (the renunciation of a particular religion), or blasphemy with death. The annual Freedom of Thought report by the International Humanist and Ethical Union, found that 13 countries impose capital punishment upon people simply for their beliefs, or lack of them.
Afghanistan, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen are the relevant countries.

What an astonishing coincidence that they are all majority-Muslim countries.
I spent a depressing, miserable and wasteful fifteen years of my life in two of the above mentioned places. And now, I watch with horror as the collective West appeases and imports millions of Muslims. The millennials and their children will have to face and fight a terrible, and utterly avoidable, war.

Every year London hosts a gay pride parade to support the LBGT community. This year, Pride falls during Ramadan. As a gesture of inclusion, the gay community will host a “big gay iftar” dinner to bring the Muslim and LGBT communities together.
Halaal pork sausages for everyone!
The Muslims are not happy.
However some Muslim groups vocally oppose such an event, even going so far as to blame the Jews.
So gay.
