Not a microaggression

The nature of "education" in an Islamic society:
PENAMPANG: An eight-year-old schoolboy here suffered a head wound requiring eight stitches after he was allegedly struck by a chair thrown by his teacher.
The boy’s 34-year-old mother, who wished only to be known as ‘Wawa’, said she was shocked when she saw the deep, wide gash on her son’s head following the incident at a classroom here at around 9am yesterday.
The ugly result:
A littler lower and he could have lost an eye, had his nose crushed or broken his neck. This is only worthy of news in Malaysia because the kid needed medical attention. If the teacher had simply slapped, punched or beaten the boy with a ruler, then it would have been alright.
