The anchor is discussing in a solemn baritone that no one knows why the gunman did it, or what his motive was. This is after the story broke where the FBI admitted the shooter’s ties to Islam, and after the shooter’s call to 911, where he swore allegiance to the Islamic State, was told to the public.
