Fighting the oppression

The Daily Mail via Vlad Tepes:
Australia is to remove the birth of Jesus as a reference point for dates in school history books.
Under the new politically correct curriculum, the terms BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini) will be replaced with BCE (Before Common Era) and CE (Common Era).
The Archbishop of Sydney, Peter Jensen, yesterday condemned the move as an ‘intellectually absurd attempt to write Christ out of human history’.
Muslims are immigrating in large numbers to Western nations. They're bringing their wretched religious views and practices with them. Yet, the Australian government has the, er, time to go after the global standard of dates!
It's pointless really. The way things are going, before the end of this century, they'll move to a certain lunar calendar.
SWEET! Now if we can follow Australia's lead and elect an atheist in Canada, maybe we can finally get rid of these ridiculous superstitions here, too.
I mean, honestly, could you imagine if we marked distance in Hercules-Paces? Or volume in "Thor's Drinking Horns"? The absurdity of it is mind-numbing, much like "religion" in general.
