Trust Me

I just finished P.W. Singer’s Wired for War, which discusses this topic at considerable length. But everybody invokes the Terminator robots — why isn’t there more discussion of the far-more-ethical Bolos?
Terminator robots!?
No, no, no. They're cyborgs: Living tissue over metal endoskeleton.
but the living tissue was just for looks. It's like saying that you're a chimera if you're wearing a fur coat.

The age of cyborgs will likely be very short.
I believe it is more likely that nanotechnology will make it so that human beings will have the technology of computers naturally grown within their brains, skin, and organs.
Yesterday, I cursed a machine at work, and a guy said to me, "Better watch out. When the machines take over, they're not going to like you much."
And, I told him, "The machines will be us."
I believe that is true.
