I got a cellphone last year for $150. It's mostly so that my employer can call me. I got it setup with a killer plan: $10-a-month.
The iPhone definitely has ishtyle but it's too pricey.

It's also more of a real computer in the palm of your hand than just a cell phone. Personally, I'm happy with my iPod Touch which does everything the iPhone does except for take pictures and make phone calls.

The thing is: I rarely use my phone. So, I get only 30 minutes per month for the $10. It's from Fido in Canada. I can always buy more minutes if the need were to arise.
