The second entry on the list is technically not a movie. Still, Band of Brothers deserves a viewing -- for the first few minutes of the second episode alone.

Amused to see that someone listed "Aliens".

Empire of the Sun is definitely worth watching.
Christian Bale's performance, for his age, was impressive. He has gone to establish himself as the most versatile actor of his generation.
