Ah. Your picture reminded me of a scene from The Return of the King.
Pippin says, "There was a White Tree in a courtyard of stone. It was dead." Later, we see the tree is still alive. Of course, the Tree was in the great city of Minas Tirith.
Now every time I see a white tree, I'll be reminded of Lord of the Rings and your photo!
