Islam lacks any real concept of God's grace. The God of Israel would seem a lot like the god of Islam were it not for his merciful nature and free offer of grace. This passage from the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 6 will teach you everything you need to know about the difference between "Allah's mercy" and Yaweh's mercy:

Something that one of the commenters brought up reminded me of a real peeve of mine. People need to realize that their willingness or unwillingness to believe in Hell or accept the deity that has the power to send them to Hell, has no bearing on the truth about such things. I can assure you, if the God of Israel exists, and what was written in the New Testament is true, that everyone who has rejected Jesus will have no choice when God sentences them to damnation.
From a spiritual POV, I think this illusion of self-determination in the afterlife is one of the most dangerous ideas there is.
