Naagin Reloaded

I don't know about the movie but the review is a classic:
Everybody knows that the one thing every young girl fears is discovering, once she has given her heart to someone, that she was a serpent in her past life and that her snake husband wants her back. Guess what? That fear comes true for the poor Monisha.
Oh, I laughed so hard at that.

Me too.
At one time bollywood use to come up with 'snake' movies with regularity, with quite a few hitting the
jackpot at the box office.
Quick Question: What is the position of snake in pakistan. Do they also believe in such stupidities.

The last time I watched a Pakistani movie was in 1994. So, I'm not aware of their treatment of snakes. As for the society: Pakistanis kill snakes if they get too close to their residences. They don't have any 'reverence' for the animal. (Nor do they believe in reincarnation.)
In 1996, I think, I saw a snake charmer in Lahore. The audience ringed him and watched the whole cobra show. Later, a few people dropped some money. So, there is certainly an ooh aah factor but it ends there.

Actually snakes are killed in india also if they are found in house, out of security. More pious ones, who are against killing any animal will hire someone to take the snake elsewhere.
