The Common Denominator
Quote of the Day

Josh Scholar

It's the same principle as calling being fired "rightsizing".

Except that the idiot executive forgot that the purpose of business euphemisms is to show complete contempt for workers and destroy their moral so they'll work too hard, never consider organizing and not ask for more money.

You call them "human resources" instead of calling them "people" so that they know they're complete disposable. You call kicking them to the curb "rightsizing" so that they know you won't hesitate to throw them out on their asses.

But see, showing contempt for customers with complete denials of their wishes doesn't help the way it does with employees.

He is an idiot.
