Is your immigration situation sorted out?
I hope that it is.
I wanted to write to my MP so as to ask for special consideration for you but I couldn't use the pseudonym Isaac Schroedinger. And of course given the barbarity of the adversary the use of a pseudonym is perfectly understandable.
Anyhow, I'm glad you've got your blog and up and are still here.

My refugee claim was accepted earlier this year: The Marathon of My Life.
I filled out and sent in the long "Landed Immigrant" application a few weeks ago. Some time soon, I'll get a letter confirming that my application has been received and then my paperwork will be put in a queue.
It might take as long as late 2008 till I become a landed immigrant in Canada.
The tough part (hopefully) is over. Now, I just wait.
