Hey thinking about money you need.. why don't you just serve up some ads.. people who are unable to pay could just click on the ads.. and send some revenue your way..

I needed to raise $2500 by the end of this year. Ads wouldn't have added much.

And good observation on ads. As it is, ads on blogs and websites may be on their way out: there has been so much abuse that advertisers are getting wary (and weary).
