That's the thing about Islamic nations. Rapes and physical assaults on women aren't reduced at all. They're just not reported because women have less means to do so.
Plus, there is always the chance that after a rape the immediate family might kill the victim* out of a sense of lost honor which adds as a further disincentive for not reporting heinous crimes.
* Hey, it's her fault, she likely wasn't covering herself properly.
