Help The Little Blasphemer

I am a refugee claimant in Canada. My hearing will take place in early January 2007. I am a citizen of Pakistan, a nation which has a blasphemy law on the books--it's called Section 295-C:

Use of derogatory remarks, etc. in respect of the Holy Prophet. Whoever by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine."

I started blogging in December 2004. Since then I have written quite a bit that would over-qualify for blasphemy. For example, in January 2006, I supported the showcasing of the Muhammad cartoons:

Don't give in to the psychotic thugs and regimes of the Muslim world. These are the same people who keep half their population as slaves, hang homosexuals, behead alcohol consumers, treat kids with utter cruelty, "think" that Jews rule the world, and celebrate when Westerners are ruthlessly murdered. And yet they're offended by a few harmless cartoons.

It is you--the Danes--who should be appalled at the atrocious and wretched behaviour of such an odious section of humanity. Do not apologize for your exercises in freedom. Do not sacrifice your free speech at the altar of deplorable Muslim feelings.

Cherish your precious liberty and stand tall against these barbarians.

It is vitally important that the West not put Islam or any other religion off-limits to critical analysis. For only in the West can a person safely write that the obliteration of a Jewish tribe, the taking of sex-slaves, and the confiscation of non-Muslim property is something not to be celebrated and emulated.

After re-reading your arguments, I thought that you need to focus more on Pakistan's lacking ability to protect you, or worse, will to hurt you. Here in Denmark that makes a big difference. Including that 'law text' should do alot. Indirectly? Innuendo? That's anything and everything! And about the Motoons, wasn't there issued a fatwa against the cartoonists and their publishers? Pakistan was so unsafe, we even recalled our ambassador for a while! Maybe you'd want to check out Jyllandsposten, for ammo.

MR Schrodinger, get in contact with the Barnabas Fund. www.barnabasfund.org. They are based in UK and help murtads in Islamic countries. The head of the fund is a British Pakistani. I hope they can give you some advice. Good luck. I pray for you !

No-one reported me. I'm a citizen of Pakistan and I'm on record as being a Muslim. The combination of my apostasy and explicit blasphemy will be hazardous to my health if I were to go back.

I'm not a lawyer, but my gut tells me that apostasy is the better claim. Blasphemy is something that you do, and it can be abused by people seeking a better life in Canada. Apostasy is a result of something that you are (at least as seen in the West), which you have no control over. Of course it is possible to make a false claim, but no one can question why you did it.

I seem to recall that you said you lived in the US? If that is true, why move up to Canada? I know it's a moot point, but I had to ask it. In the US, no one can touch you for any stupid blasphemy law.

Mohammed was no prophet of GOD . The allah of muhammad was the old middle-eastern deity - the moon god, who was believed to have 3 daughters called Lat , Uzza , and Manat, mohammed said that it was legitimate for muslims to pray to them.
Oh yes this was abrogated later on because by then it created a lot of confusion among his followers. It only goes to show the mindset of this historical maniac.
Mohammed was nothing more then an evil murdering paedophile, who spread his cult by the sword, who robbed , invaded and raped in the name of his allah.
