(Indeed, with its imposition of taxes on nonbelievers ("protetction money") and death sentence for apostates, it sounds much like the mafia to me.)

That's just mean, disrespecting the mafia like that.

Where do you think the Mafia got its inspiration from? After all, it was founded in Sicily as a nationalist resistance against its muslim overlords.

The similarities between islam and the mafia are too many to be coincidental.
