I would rather call that "The Retarded Pleasures". It's like "Oh why can't we have Starbucks and Burger King [et al] like the US and Europe, that is sooo unfair...those evil brands, poor us!"
To me, that's just friggin' retarded.
Don't get me wrong..I am all for embracing globalization and all that BS, and I do buy stuff from these companies. The sad thing is, some people feel like they *can't live* without stuff like that, and that's just, well..sad.
