A Bright Mind

I Am Pro-Choice

This post by KipEsquire reminded me of one of my economics professors. One could see the dripping contempt whenever he opined on free markets. He once talked about the uselessness of having sooo many different kinds of soaps in a capitalist country. Does a society really need that much variety? Of course not, it's obviously wasteful.

But if peope -- the free markets -- are not to decide on the assortment of soaps and millions of other goods, then who does? That enlightened professor and his ilk. Of course.

Also, an earlier post of mine where I talked about the same Leftist professor.

Update: Pejman also talks about the "anti-choice movement".
