Note: UAE was one of the three countries in the world that recognized the Taliban. The other two were Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. My point is that UAE, which is liberal compared to Saudi Arabia (believe me, that's not a hard achievement), is still a dictatorship with mostly Sharia laws. From what I've been reading, it's also the Switzerland of terrorist finances.
