In a sign of the extent of control that some in the Pakistani authorities seek to exert over young women, girls in government schools in the Punjab province will receive extra marks for covering themselves up with the hijab.
Five extra marks will be dished out to young females who comply in an effort to promote ‘hijab-culture’ in Punjab.
The cute daughter of a former Pakistan prime minister asks:
.... and what will the boys do? What will students of a different religion do? Why does wearing a Hijab impact grades/marks ?! https://t.co/kgxlPveRpG— Aseefa B Zardari (@AseefaBZ) 14 March 2017
Like her grandfather and mother before, the Pakistanis are going to whack this uppity girl.
