Microsoft fail
The behemoth has redesigned their Windows logo. It's atrocious.
This logo would have been a better choice.

I think the new logo is to indicate the tiles approach to be used in upcoming Metro.

I'm familiar with the tiles approach.
Still, that new logo is a serious downgrade from the previous colourful iterations. The present uni-colour reminds me of windshield washer fluid.
