The Battle of Syria
Syria needs to pay attention. A shift to “no proxy war” would put it in a vise between Israel and Iraq.
Those are two remarkable sentences. Syria has been in de facto war with Israel since her creation. Yet, never before did the Syrians have to worry about a multi-front war--that was what Israel dealt with and is dealing with now.
However, if this war were to escalate, then the biggest loser in the near future will be Bashar Assad. Israeli hammer meet American anvil.
