A Message for the World
An image from this post at Gateway Pundit caught my eye. It's a photo in which Indian Muslims have a big sign behind them which reads, "WE ARE READY TO BECOME SUICIDE BOMBER". It's curious that the Urdu writing above that text doesn't say the same thing.
Here's the image:

Translation of the five Urdu words into English: "It is appropriate to kill an offensive cartoonist."
Update
I emailed Gateway Pundit and he linked to this post. Thanks!

Better translation:
"It is just to kill an artist."
I don't write 'em, I just translate 'em.

Also of note?
Remember the old joke of a sign that read "PLAN AHEAD!" with each letter getting progressively thinner and cramped as the signmaker ran out of space?
Apparently whoever painted the English on that banner wasn't familiar with that oldest of jokes.

>> The Liberal Avenger,
I'm assuming that you're serious about the translation: The Urdu text doesn't contain the word "artist". In fact, the second Urdu word is simply "cartoonist" -- one would pronounce that word as cartoonist in both Urdu and English.
However, if you're talking about Islamist hatred for anything that is artistic, then in that case you're correct.

This is the benefit of having all blogs working independently, yet together. One can always find the facts and the truth on a blog.
Thank you for the education. I will link this article.

"This is the benefit of having all blogs working independently, yet together."
Indeed. And thanks for the future link!

Although I can't read Urdu, I will trust Isaac's translation over anything offered by the Liberal Avenger. (S)he is the perfect purveyor of the liberal approach, which is to simply make something up when inconvenient reality threatens to intrude.
Zarqawi is a "freedom fighter." Bush "lied about WMD." Hurricane Katrina "showed the country's racism." Do I have any facts to back up these assertions? No. But I don't need facts.
I feel, therefore I'm right.
